- Why did you change the name?
Although in 1992 we chose to discontinue our retail store and focus on technology solutions, many people still think of ComputerLand as a retail store providing hardware and little else. We want our name to better reflect our focus on developing solutions to meet the time-sensitive needs of our clients.
- Are you still connected with ComputerLand?
Yes. We are still a ComputerLand affiliate. This allows us to continue providing you the large purchasing power of premier tier one products.
- Were you bought out?
No. Nickerson Business Systems, Inc., is our corporate name. NBSI purchased the ComputerLand of Lakeland franchise in 1988. Now instead of d.b.a. ComputerLand of Lakeland we are d.b.a. Perpetual Technology Solutions.
- Is Perpetual Technology Solutions a national chain?
No. We are located in Lakeland.
- Did management and staff change?
No. This is a name change only. Ownership, management and staff have not changed. The same people you have worked with for years are still here in their same positions.
- Will there be price increases due to this change?
No. Our policies and procedures have not changed. We are still the same company, with the same people and the same pricing structure.
